This site is dedicated to all those who love good wine and in particular the Piedmont good wine. Piedmont is a region full of excellent vineyards and grapes of excellence. The hills of Piedmont, once a seabed, are unique in terms of quality of land, that, combined with the wonderful action of the sun and, of course, with the seriousness and the expertise of producers, gives, to all gourmets, the wines more tasty and precious of the world.

THE GOOD WINE MAKES GOOD BLOOD

The wine in general, but especially the red wine, whose Piedmont is an excellent producer, helps the human organism to preserve their standard of good form. Of course this proves true only if the wine, understood of excellent quality, is taken in clever mode: or rather in modest daily quantities and in combination with food eating (preferably genuine). In practice, if every healthy individual (who leads an healthy and honesty life) drink a good half glass of red wine per meal, it would help more for the prevention of certain types of cancer, Alzheimer's disease, osteoporosis, ischemia, thrombosis, atherosclerosis in general and heart attack. It would also have a little help for small things concerning learning, mnemonic, and also to troubles related to the period of menopause. We reiterate that this we have just written, has a scientific value, but it is a little help and not a medicine.

DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN

Denominazione di origine controllata (D.O.C.): The wines bearing the mark DOC on the label are wines that have received recognition of quality. Generally belong to small and medium reality limited to a specific geographic area. These wines, for inclusion in the market, must pass stringent tests both sensory and chemical analysis.

Denomimazione di origine controllata e garantita (D.O.C.G.):The recognition DOCG is given to wines already DOC and that achieve a particular rare merit of quality. Generally speaking, these are wines that have a national and international resonance and surpass more stringent quality controls. DOCG wines must boast on the label a brand of the Italian State and may have the numbers of the produced bottles (bottles always less than 5 liters capacity).
